Welcome to the X-Tri event portal to those events owned and organised by X-Tri Australia.
X-Tri Australia is an Australian based events company, operating around Australia and now further afield to produce quality multisport and triathlon racing.
Each of the X-Tri directors has a strong events organization and marketing background, qualified by their mission statement, "To build a multisport management company, dedicated to lifestyle sports and fitness development - through the creation of new standards of organisation, administration, competition, format and equipment."
X-Tri Australia annually conducts a number of multisport events nationally including two of the finest Half Ironman races on the national calendar, and there are direct links to these event websites to the right of this welcome note.
Our speciality is multisport events, including triathlon and running events. However we diversify into just about any sports event format, and we can also assist other events through supply of personnel and hire or a diverse range of event specific equipment.
X-Tri has a great history of innovation.
The company introduced the XTERRA concept to Australia, and has organised events as diverse as the ITU 2006 Canberra Long Distance Triathlon World Championships in the ACT to family fun runs such as the 2006 Medibank Australia Day Fun Run also in Canberra. Arguably our flagship right now is the exciting Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore Triathlon conducted in conjunction with Singapore based HiVelocity Group as Hi-Tri Pte Ltd (Singapore).
The X-Tri team also works in various consulting roles, currently with Triathlon NSW triathlon events, the Blackmores Running Festival, H-Events and of course, preparing the Capricorn Resort and Canberra City Half Ironmans, whilst constantly researching new events, at home and away!
We are constantly striving for better, safer races, with the right mix of challenge, mystic and excitement to give competitors to a day of great memories through unique experiences...Safety is a major consideration in all our event preparation and we strive for best practice is all that we do.
Our events will vary in format, degree of difficulty, challenge and committment required, and we will strive to remain constantly innovative as we utlise different formats; experiment with ever better ways to run events for competitors, by competitors...
In the medium term we are looking to introduce a mixture of multisport and specialised events with which we hope to challenge the athletes of Australia in a whole new spectrum of ways!
